PhalBack applies the maximum vacuum allowed by the FDA to force the penis to reach its intrinsic geometry. PhalBack enforces a minimum break between usage of seven hours because each session will stress the penis structure through hydraulic force.
A Vacuum Erection Device (VED) functions to cause the penis to physically return to its original healthy geometry that is required for sexual intercourse.
A healthy penis enlarges to its full geometric shape and volume by applying arterial blood to the penis. This arterial blood pressure is significantly higher than the atmospheric pressure that is applied to the exterior of the penis. This difference in pressure, called a differential, causes blood to be “pushed” into the lower pressure of the deflated penis.
A VED has the same effect by causing the same pressure differential, although the differential is created in a different way. Instead of solely increasing the internal blood pressure of the penis, a VED decreases the atmospheric pressure that is applied to the exterior of penis.
Either way, the geometry required for sexual intercourse is attained by “pushing” blood into a penis while the penis has a lower internal pressure than the blood supplied by the body. This “pushed” blood stretches the penis to its intrinsic erect geometry.
When the applied blood pressure alone cannot achieve the geometry required for sexual intercourse, a VED normally does the job.
By artificially lowering the pressure (vacuum) applied to the exterior of the penis, a VED is in control of the strength of the forces acting inside the penis. The FDA sets a limit to the strength of this vacuum. PhalBack strictly adheres to this limit.
PhalBack does not immediately take the penis to this maximum vacuum level. Instead, it slowly increases the vacuum to the maximum. By pressing a button on the screen, a lower level can immediately be selected if that is more comfortable than the FDA limit. By slowly increasing the vacuum, the vascular system supplying blood to the penis, and the physical structure of the penis, is not suddenly shocked.
Even though the applied vacuum is slowly increased, PhalBack will periodically take a break from inflating and stretching the penis to allow the penis some relaxion during this stretching period. Stretching the penis without taking breaks can limit the amount of stretch and can become uncomfortable to use.
Over a roughly 15-minute period this process will progressively inflate the penis closer to its intrinsic geometry.
With many older and erectile-compromised penises, the pressure differential from the vacuum of the VED is greater than the recent vascular pressure applied to the penis. This can be expected to cause the penis to reach a geometry that is greater than its recent naturally erect geometry.
The FDA has never approved a VED as a penis changing device. In compliance with this, PhalBack does not make any such claims. PhalBack is a VED with significant safety improvements and automation to control usage and to relax the penis which allows the penis to attain its maximum intrinsic geometry with comfort.
